"With the album’s longest track clocking in at 2:45, this is the kind of record to spin during your pre-party drinks."
Although it might seem lazy to compare Pitt The Elder to fellow Aussie punks Frenzal Rhomb, it’s a fairly complete comparison: melodic bass lines occupy much of the album, with single-note vocals cheekily detailing Aussie life.
In true pop-punk fashion, the rhythm section is justly represented in endless jams that don’t go anywhere too crazy but keep you interested, guitars thrashing along with singer Emma Thulborn’s laid-back vocals. With the album’s longest track clocking in at 2:45, this is the kind of record to spin during your pre-party drinks.
