All in all, this guy is the real thing and a megastar in every sense of the word.

More Michael Buble More Michael Buble

Opening the night were R&B group Naturally 7, who are definitely one to watch. Using nothing but their voices, they take a cappella to the next level, warming the crowd up to boiling point.

Fevers were sent sky high when Canadian crooner Michael Bublé emerged, a dark silhouette amidst a curtain lit up in flaming ashes at Allphones Arena. Having seen The Boob live in concert before, it was great to see another side of him. The usually suave and debonair Bublé was off to a rocky start, unable to hear himself through his earpiece from the get-go.

He then joked around with some incredibly awkward albeit hilarious crowd interaction – singing Happy Birthday to one lucky girl named Jody or Jordy or Jordan, it's hard to be sure, because he flipped the bird to her when he couldn't decipher her name. All in jest, of course.

He then told another person they couldn't come sing with him, because it wasn't a karaoke bar, and another she couldn't be his nanny because she was too hot. It was hilarious to say the least. “This is probably one hundred and fifty shows I've done, and this is the most awkward start yet,” said Bublé.

Despite all of the awkwardness, he delivered what was a flawless vocal performance. Making his way through hits such as Come Dance With Me, Try A Little Tenderness and crowd favourite, Haven't Met You Yet, he proved he's every inch a superstar.

Towards the end of Bublé's set, Naturally 7 joined him for a Motown segment that was undoubtedly the highlight of the night. Keeping with the a cappella theme, Bublé asked for the sound to be cut for his closing number, A Song For You. And despite losing the microphone, his vocals were powerful enough to have the entire venue captivated. All in all, this guy is the real thing and a megastar in every sense of the word.
