Led by singer-songwriter David Le’aupepe alongside Donnie Borzestowski, Jung Kim and Tom Hobden, Gang Of Youths are recognised for some of the most emotionally resonant, enjoyable music to come out of Australia in the 2010s. From Magnolia to What Can I Do If The Fire Goes Out? to the angel of 8th ave, fans know and love the hits.
According to a press release about the Sydney Opera House shows, the evenings will entail “new material alongside soaring favourites” from Gang Of Youths’ beloved catalogue. The band’s most recent album, angel in realtime, arrived in 2022.
On their highly anticipated return to the stage, David Le’aupepe said, “There’s no place like home! We’re incredibly excited to be back, playing in Sydney, to finally play some new music in one of the most special venues in the world.”
