System Of A Down Announce 2027 Australian Tour With Special Guests Faith No More

Two juggernauts of rock and heavy metal are finally coming back to Australia in January 2027.

It’s real: after some teasing via murals and light projections and over a decade between visits, System Of A Down have announced their long-awaited return to our shores, and very special guests Faith No More are joining them for the ride.

With anticipation to witness both bands at monumental heights, the tour is taking place in stadiums this summer. The excitement begins at Sydney’s Accor Stadium on Friday, 22 January, and continues at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on Wednesday, 27 January, and concludes at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on Monday, 1 February.

Fans signed up to System Of A Down and Faith No More mailing lists can access pre-sale tickets on Tuesday, 28 July. The PayPal First Access pre-sale follows on Wednesday, 29 July, and the general sale will be available from Friday, 31 July, at 10 am AEST (for the Sydney show), 11 am (Melbourne), and 12 pm (Brisbane).

System Of A Down last visited Australia in February and March 2012, when they headlined Soundwave Festival alongside Slipknot and embarked on a run of headline arena shows, where they were joined by special guests The Dillinger Escape Plan. The shows were marketed as their reunion tour.

Faith No More also last played in Australia as part of Soundwave Festival in 2015.
