While Finn would no doubt run a tight ship musically, it looks like he’s also very willing to let their individuality shine.

The instant Paskalev reaches for his trusty harmonica, a sudden surge of iPhones and ear-piercing screams mark the hysteria taking over, capping off a dazzling Brisbane debut for the Norwegian-Bulgarian singer and his wacky band.

While not quite as impressive as the last tour (live band in tow), this is still a remarkable performance, and to pull off two such different shows so well… let’s just say expectations are even higher for next time.

But as soon as a song starts, or more accurately as soon as Case begins to sing, all is forgiven and until the end of the song there is nothing there but the music.

Apologies to the rest of the line-up. Like Soundwave, scheduling made it impossible to catch everyone.

Their energy had been unwavering and palpable, creating a set that was constantly moving, evolving and attention-stealing.
