For a band that wear their influences like a badge of honour, St Lucia somehow still manage to incorporate a sound and style all their own.

Happy was followed by Livin’ In The City and Funky Tonight, which was more than enough to send the entire audience over the edge and leave the crowd of thousands gagging for more.

The show ended on a high for the audience, and given the calibre of the performance, Thief should be feeling the same way as he finishes off his tour.

Well on its way to being a long-standing tradition in the City of Fremantle, the 11th Annual West Coast Blues ‘N’ Roots left every man, woman and the occasional baby screaming for more.

These guys are musically talented and put on a good live show, but their music just doesn’t deliver enough to inspire awe at a gig like it does at a festival.

These songs need nothing else, the strength of writing is proven again and again across the night and supported by their solid performance.
