Spokes returns after his 2015 debut Green Eyes with his latest EP Flight, which is full of great electronic tracks to get your head banging.

SPOKES returns after his 2015 debut Green Eyes with his latest EP Flight, which is full of great electronic tracks to get your head banging.

What you will find on this EP is a great mix of interesting tracks that show of a diverse range of style and synths between them. Each track has a different feeling to it.

'Failed State' starts off slow and continues to drop synths in and out the entire track, the end result is that 'Failed State' has heaps of these leading melodic synths that give a strong start to the album.

'Mercurial' is different to 'Failed State' by having these bouncy synths that set the groove for later in the track, it also isn't just made up of sweeping melodic synth lines it has these punchy kick drums that give the track a real presence.

The title track 'Flight' builds up differently as it uses these choir vocals along with woodblock sounds before introducing some of the main synths that will drive the track forward. Like the track before it, 'Flight' also has a drum section with punchy kicks but this one is different as it has more of a trap music feel to it due to the high hats.

The Marks remix of 'Flights' is a more bass heavy counterpart to Spokes' take on the track, it features rumbling bass underneath the kick drums and really gives the track a fresh take on it's originals premise.
