It's Triple J's fourth consecutive 'Like A Version' to debut at #1.
The latest installation of triple j fan favourite Like A Version has walked all over international punk rock legends Green Day and music icon Barry Gibb to claim the top debut on this week's ARIA Albums Chart.
Both music juggernauts make a return to the scene with new records and Australian tours confirmed for early 2017; Green Day's Revolution Radio and Bee Gees co-founder Barry Gibb's In The Now being no match for the #1 local release, landing #2 and #3 respectively.
It’s not surprising when you stack up the tracks featured on the 12th installation of Live Of Version, with Tame Impala, Childish Gambino and more coming to the party. It seems there’s no stopping the youth broadcast as it claims its fourth consecutive #1, with last year’s Like A Version 11 blocking Cold Chisel from a top debut.
As midweek figures indicated, revered US singer Norah Jones also cracked the Top 5 with Days Break debuting at #4, while Alter Bridge’s The Last Hero (#6), Meshuggah’s The Violent Sleep Of Reason (#9) keep the top 10 heavy.

Other debuts on the Albums Chart includes DD Dumbo’s Utopia Defeated (#22), Melissa Etheridge’s Memphis Rock And Soul (#40), Julia Jacklin’s Don't Let The Kids Win (#49) and The Panics’ Hole In Your Pocket (#52)
