Confirmed!

Live music TV series The Set is confirmed to be returning for a third season in 2021.

Earlier this year, ABC's Director of Entertainment Michael Carrington conceded that he was "really struggling to get the budget" for a new season, however the show's return was confirmed during the networks 2021 Upfronts this week.

ABC has told The Music that hosts Dylan Alcott and Linda Marigliano will also return, however a premiere date is yet to be confirmed.

In its two season-run The Set featured live performances from the likes of Amy Shark, The Teskey Brothers, The Presets, Vera Blue and Ball Park Music.

ABC also told The Music today that The Recording Studio, which premiered in 2019 and offered participants "the chance of a lifetime, to help them professionally record the one song that means more to them than any other", has at this stage not been commissioned for a new season in 2021.

Fisk will also feature Aussie favourite and RocKwiz host Julia Zemiro.

Another new series, co-created by Mark Samual Bonanno of Melbourne comedy trio Aunty Donna, Why Are You Like This and new documentary, I'm Wanita, about "Australia's Queen of Honky Tonk", Wanita, will also screen in 2021.
