Ticket-wise, not in, like, a "ooh, you used to be punk" way

The 2014 Age Music Victoria Awards ceremony featuring the induction of Aussie legends Daddy Cool into its Hall Of Fame – has officially sold out.

The awards evening, which takes place this year on November 19, will feature the hosting services of Henry Wagons, with renowned Aussie muso Davey Lane (You Am I) offering up a tribute to a fellow legend, the late Jim Keays, and special guest artists Russell Morris, Stonefield and Jess Cornelius of Teeth & Tongue performing with musical director Pete Luscomb (he of RocKwiz fame) and the EG Allstars.

However, dedicated fans that have missed out so far will have final chances to snare passes via giveaways and voting in an Age online polls, which aren’t set to open until Friday, October 17.

“We’re thrilled that the awards have sold out so quickly, but not surprised,” Music Victoria chief executive Patrick Donovan enthused in a statement. “We’re as excited about seeing Daddy Cool reunite for the awards as anyone else and can’t wait to see them on November 19!
