Ben Lee & Georgia Maq Announce 'Two Most Annoying People You Love' Australian Tour

The pair will perform a two-hour show that features deep cuts, covers, and more.

Ben Lee and Georgia Maq, best known as the singer of the Melbourne trio Camp Cope and for her solo work, have teamed up to announce an Australian tour.

Together, the two friends will embark on the Two Most Annoying People You Love national tour this September and October. The shows begin at Brisbane’s Princess Theatre on Wednesday, 23 September.

They continue at the Melbourne Recital Centre on Thursday, 24 September, Sydney’s City Recital Centre on Friday, 25 September, the Milton Theatre on Saturday, 26 September, Perth’s The Rechabite on Tuesday, 29 September, Freo.Social on Wednesday, 30 September, Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Thursday, 1 October, and conclude at the Canberra Theatre on Friday, 2 October.

“Georgia is one of my favourite songwriters and favourite people. Can’t wait to invite the audience into our friendship, into our world,” Ben Lee said. Georgia Maq added, “I love Ben so much, and I’m so excited to interpolate our songs together in a new and weird way.”

According to a press release, the pair will perform a two-hour show, both on stage for the entire time. They’ll support one another, provide harmonies, perform deep cuts and covers, and take on each other’s renowned songs.

Lee and Maq are set to road-test new material from forthcoming recorded projects as they showcase their friendship, “their love of music, and the power of a great song.”

The tour announcement arrives after Maq recently returned to Australia for a surprise run of shows, including a Camp Cope reunion in Melbourne.

Ben Lee’s most recent album, This One’s for the Old Headz, dropped in 2024. Last year, he embarked on a national tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of his seminal album, Awake Is The New Sleep. He also spent a few months on tour this year.
