“Album anniversaries and special events are lovely, but being out on the road just for the sake of it is what it’s all about,” Ben Lee explained.

Almost three weeks after wrapping his Awake Is The New Sleep 20th anniversary tour, Ben Lee has announced an Australian tour for early 2026.
This time, the Catch My Disease singer won’t be performing in celebration of an anniversary or any other special event; it’s a regular tour. Lee has named the upcoming run “On Tour… Always.”
The tour begins on Friday, 2 January, in Mudgeeraba, Queensland. It continues with an abundance of dates in New South Wales, Western Australia, and Victoria, with shows also scheduled in the Northern Territory and South Australia, concluding its lengthy run in May.
You can see the long list of tour dates below—tickets to most shows are available now via Ben Lee’s website, and others will be ready to purchase soon.

“Album anniversaries and special events are lovely, but being out on the road just for the sake of it is what it’s all about,” Lee wrote on Instagram today. “Night after night, always changing, sweaty, a little chaotic, unpredictable. Hand to hand combat.
“See you out on the road! Link in bio for tix.”
Reviewing his Awake Is The New Sleep show at Brisbane’s Princess Theatre last month, The Music’s Claire Dunton wrote, “The constant dialogue with the audience really did make it feel like the reunion was shared, and Lee breaking the fourth wall was an invitation for us to finally poke our heads out the back and see the musings and stories that brought us the songs that have meant so much to us for two decades.”
She concluded, “For anyone who has hesitated to attend a reunion tour, there is something healing about seeing an artist who is so special to you play a record that meant so much to you at a certain point in time. Lee understood the importance of his music and the impact it had made on the diverse demographic of punters at last night's show.”
