The Kid LAROI reportedly attempted to break up a bar fight in Halifax, Nova Scotia, in Canada on Sunday (28 September).
Initially reported by TMZ, the Australian singer and rapper was at an after-party following his performance at the Magnetic World Festival in Halifax that night.
He headed to The Pint Bar after his performance, where, in video footage, the STAY singer is in conversation with someone before his security guard throws a punch. TMZ reports that the man punched was an “off-duty” security guard who was taking photos of The Kid LAROI before getting his phone taken by the singer’s manager.
The fight then escalated into an all-out brawl, with The Kid LAROI himself attempting to break it up. TMZ notes the brawl was eventually broken up, and the singer reportedly ended up going to another bar.
The Kid LAROI performed at Magnetic World Festival alongside huge names including Dom Dolla, 21 Savage, Roy Woods, and many others at the city’s largest multi-genre festival.
This morning, it was announced that The Kid LAROI would be an ambassador for this year’s AusMusic T-Shirt Day with Jessica Mauboy, Troy Cassar-Daley, Hoodoo Gurus, Missy Higgins, and many others.
