Spilt Milk Festival organisers have issued a statement about d4vd’s disappearance from this year’s line-up, confirming that he’s been removed from the line-up and marketing “out of respect for the unfolding story.”
The American singer, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, was set to perform at the festival in December alongside Kendrick Lamar, Doechii, Sara Landry, and many others. D4vd’s sideshows have also been pulled amid a police investigation into the body of a teenage girl found in a car registered to him.
Earlier this month, it was reported that a “severely decomposed” dead body was found in an impounded Tesla registered to d4vd in Los Angeles.
As the investigation has progressed, the body was identified as that of a missing teenage girl, 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Her death is being treated as a homicide, with d4vd being the prime suspect. Rivas’ mother alleged that prior to her daughter’s disappearance in 2024, she had a boyfriend named David.
The Los Angeles Police Department recently served a search warrant at d4vd’s Hollywood Hills home. The singer is reportedly cooperating with law enforcement in their investigation.

“Last week we removed d4vd from our website and marketing out of respect for the unfolding story,” Spilt Milk organisers wrote in a statement shared today (25 September).
They added, “We can now confirm d4vd will not perform at Spilt Milk and we are working on a replacement booking which we’ll announce as soon as it’s finalised.”
After taking a year off in 2024, Spilt Milk returns this December with a blockbuster line-up headlined by global superstar Kendrick Lamar.
Other names receiving top billing for this year’s festival include Doechii, Sara Landry, Dominic Fike, and ScHoolboy Q. Aussies such as Ninajirachi, The Rions, South Summit, The Dreggs, and others will perform at Spilt Milk 2026.
The travelling festival will visit four locations this December, hitting Ballarat’s Victoria Park on Saturday, 6 December, Perth’s Claremont Showground on Sunday, 7 December, Canberra’s Exhibition Park on Saturday, 13 December, and wrapping up at the Gold Coast Sports Precinct on Sunday, 14 December.
The Ballarat, Canberra, and Gold Coast events are sold out, with limited tickets remaining for the Perth edition.
