Grammy-nominated, Australian-born, Los Angeles-based singer, musician, songwriter, and record producer RY X is coming home in July 2027, today announcing two special headline shows in Melbourne and Sydney.
RY X – aka Ry Cuming – isn’t just presenting any old tour. In fact, he’ll be accompanied by an orchestra for his two special homecoming Australian shows.
Having previously joined forces with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and London Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as scored for the Gothenburg Opera and Nederlands Dans Theatre, RY X is set to perform two epic shows in Australia.
The tour begins at Melbourne’s Hamer Hall on Wednesday, 14 July, and is followed by another date at the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall on Monday, 19 July.
Frontier Members can access pre-sale tickets from Thursday, 10 September, at 2 pm AEST. The general sale follows on Friday, 11 September, at 3 pm AEST. You can find more ticketing information on the Frontier Touring website.
RY X was the first artist signed to the Stockholm-based label, Dumont Dumont, in his early career. Having previously collaborated with the likes of Diplo, ODESZA, Duke Dumont, and Black Coffee, as well as being commissioned to remix Rihanna’s Love on the Brain, the Aussie star has enjoyed an impressive career thus far.
Next year, RY X will release his fourth album, DUSK. The first single from the album, Holy Water, drops on Thursday, 10 September.
Tomorrow (9 September), GAP Australia will host an exclusive live performance with the singer: RY X, at The Calyx, Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney, from 6 pm AEST. Head to the GAP Australia website for more information.
