The venue will present both a dining and entertainment experience.

Even though the Queenscliff Music Festival had to be postponed this year, the team behind it are still going to be bringing you some entertainment over summer with a new, outdoor COVID-safe dining and live entertainment experience.

Dubbed the Pelican Bar, named for the institution at the Festival, the pop up will be at an idyllic location on the shores of Swan Bay, at the start of the Bellarine Rail trail in Queenscliff.

You will be able to dine in style under cover of a marquee tent whilst enjoying a fine dining menu provided by The Q-Train, Australia's premier and award winning rail restaurant. Menus will highlight the best produce from the region paired with local craft beers, cider, wine and gin.

COVID-safe measures include the tables seating four to ten people being socially distanced, with full table service for food and beverages, while the venue undergoes cleaning and sanitisation between shows.

Along with the dining experience, shows at The Pelican Bar will feature performances of music, comedy, cabaret, trivia, all curated by the team behind the Queenscliff Music Festival.

The Pelican Bar kicks off on 27 November (incidentally when the Festival itself was meant to start this year) with performances from FOOLS and Tom Richardson, and continues right through to January with the likes of Ella Hooper, Bob Evans, The Black Sorrows, Nicky Bomba, Pierce Brothers, comedian Harley Breen with more shows to be announced.
