Bombino, Sharon Van Etten, Harmony and more will grace Tassie in March

Remote north-east Tasmanian forest event A Festival Called Panama has followed up the confirmation of its dates for its sophomore iteration in Golconda with the announcement of its first batch of acts for next year.

Lighting the way for the fledgling festival in 2015, when it returns to its previous grounds of a regional small-batch cider brewery on March 7 and 8, will be acclaimed Niger-born 'desert-psych' guitarist Bombino, the legendary Sharon Van Etten, Melburnian outfit Harmony, the lo-fi garage rock of fellow Victorians ScotDrakula, the ten-deep soul strains of Cactus Channel, widely lauded local heroes Violet Swells, and veteran troubadour Ben Salter (The Gin Club, Giants Of Science, Wilson Pickers). Check out some of the acts on offer below:

As with this year's event, the ticket allocation will be capped at 1000, meaning you and, at most, 999 others will get to enjoy the full spread of musical entertainment and amenities, including wood-fired hot showers, cider brewed on-site, local food stalls, and cabaret shows, without worrying about overcrowding.
