The 2021 Oscar nominations are in.

OK, it's not Jaja Ding Dong, but it's still good.

The 2021 Academy Award nominations have been announced today and see Húsavík - from Will Ferrell's Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga - score a nomination in the Best Original Song category alongside HER's Fight For You (Judas & The Black Messiah) and the Golden Globe award-winning Io Si (Seen) by Diane Warren, Laura Pausini and Niccolò Agliardi (The Life Ahead).

Husavik, composed by Iceland's Atli Örvarsson, is performed by Ferrell and Rachael McAdams in the film, however McAdams' vocals are actually provided by Molly Sandén, AKA My Marianne, who finished third for Sweden at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2006.

Meanwhile, Nine Inch Nails members Trent Reznor and Atticus Rose picked up two nominations for Soul (alongside Jon Batiste) and Mank in the Best Original Score category after winning the Golden Globe for Soul last month.

Mank leads this year's Academy Awards nominations with ten nods, including Best Picture, Best Director (Aaron Sorkin), Best Actor (Gary Oldman) and Best Supporting Actress (Amanda Seyfried).

For the first time ever, two women were nominated for Best Director - Chloé Zhao (Nomadland) and Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman) -  which comes after Zhao became the first Asian woman to win Best Director at the Golden Globes and the second woman ever to win the award.

Late US actor Chadwick Boseman was also recognised for Best Actor In A Leading Role (Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom), alongside Anthony Hopkins (The Father), Gary Oldman, Steven Yeun (Minari) and Riz Ahmed (Sound of Metal).

The 2021 Academy Awards will go ahead at LA's Dolby Theatre and Union Station on 25 April (26 April Australia time). Click here to see all of the categories and nominees.
