Ariana Grande last toured Australia in 2017, and she doesn't seem to have plans to return next year.

Ariana Grande has been touring infrequently in recent years, but now the American pop singer has said that next year’s tour will mark “one last hurrah.”
From June to August, Grande will bring her latest album, Eternal Sunshine, to arenas in the US, followed by a ten-night residency at London’s O2 Arena throughout August. Unfortunately, no further dates have been announced – she last toured Australia in 2017, promoting her album Dangerous Woman.
In a new interview with comedian and actor Amy Poehler, Grande appeared on the Good Hang podcast. Revealing that her upcoming tour will be her last for the foreseeable future, she shared: “I’m going to do a small stint of shows next year, because that is something that sounded authentically good to me.”
She added, “Following those authentic impulses, it feels like a really good idea. My pop career sort of took over my life in a way. I feel very privileged and grateful to learn that there can be room for different creative endeavours… the last ten or fifteen years will look very different to the ones that are coming up.
“I don’t want to say any definitive things; I do know that I’m very excited to do this small tour, but I think it might not happen again for a long, long, long, long time. So, I’m going to give it my all. I think that’s why I’m doing it, because I’m like, ‘One last hurrah. For now.’”

Grande’s comments in the interview back up her previous notes on touring.
Last year, she discussed her plans to scale back her pop career. “I’m always going to make music, I’m always going to go on stage, I’m always going to do pop stuff, I pinky promise,” she said. “But I don’t think [I’ll be] doing it at the rate I’ve been doing for the past ten years.”
Earlier this year, she admitted she had plans to embark on a “mini tour,” but put it off in favour of her acting career.
“I was considering a mini tour between the ‘Wicked’ films, but I’ve decided to prioritise acting for now,” Grande said. “Performing will always be a part of my life, but I want to focus on this chapter of storytelling through film.”
Grande reprises her role as Glinda the Good in the film, Wicked: For Good (also known as Wicked: Part Two), which premieres in Australian cinemas tomorrow (20 November). She’s joined by castmates Cynthia Erivo, Jonathan Bailey, Jeff Goldblum, Michelle Yeoh, and others.
