Norway's Wolves Like Us have announced a world wide, multi-album deal, with Prosthetic Records. Barely a year old the band have already established themselves on the live circuit with a showcase at last year's legendary OYA Festival and recent touring with Kvelertak, Gallows, Purified In Blood and Blood Command.

Fill in vocalist Mauro Gonzalez has been hired as a full time member of thrash band Bonded By Blood. Gonzalez helped the band through a long stretch of touring that only convened towards the end of the year.

Touche Amore have announced that they will be entering the studio in February to record their new album "Parting The Sea Between Brightness And Me". The band will be recording with Ed Rose (The Get Up Kids, Coalesce) at his Black Lodge Recording Studio in Eudora, Kansas.

Oakland, California extreme metal band All Shall Perish are currently nearing completion of their fourth album and follow-up to their 2008 release, Awaken the Dreamers. Guitarist Ben Orum had this to say about the bands new material:

A Life Once Lost have announced that drummer Justin Graves will be leaving the band after their run of dates in February. The band posted the following message: "So Justin Graves has made the very tough decision of leaving the band after this upcoming february four show run. He helped create a sound that was not as common in the scene as it is now back in 2002 when we started writing A Great Artist. We have traveled a good portion of the world together but now he has decided to... pursue another dream."

Flogging Molly have posted their new single "Don't Shut 'Em Down" as a free download if you sign up for the band's mailing list. The song is taken from the band's new album, which is expected to be released in May through Side One Dummy Records.

MxPx has made more of an impact on the pop punk scene than any other band hands down. After 18 years and 2.5 million album sales they still manage to capture the energy, confusion and rebellion amongst their fans. As Absolute Punk so succinctly put it “Without MxPx this website would not exist.” The Ataris story reads like a punk-rock fairy tale: teenager lives in boring mid-western town; goes to a Vandals show and gives the band a tape; weeks later gets a call from Vandals bassist (and owner of Kung Fu Records) Joe Escalante asking him to record for his label; moves to California and puts band together…the rest as they say is history. MxPx's Mike Herrera is teaming up with the front man of The Ataris, Kris Roe and the drummer of The Summer Obsession, Chris Wilson (formerly of Good Charlotte) to deliver this once in a lifetime opportunity to get up close and personal to the men behind the songs that seemed to spur on your teenage angst.

Eyes Set To Kill have released a statement announcing the departure of guitarist/vocalist Greg Kerwin. According to frontwoman Alexia Rodriguez, Kerwin is quitting the band "so that he may pursue a different lifestyle outside of the music world."

Post-hardcore quartet Small Brown Bike have announced the release of their new album, 'Fell & Found,' on April 26 through No Idea Records. The album is the first recorded by the band's original lineup since 1999's 'Our Own Wars.'
