Make Do And Mend premiere animated video
New England post-hardcore quartet Make Do And Mend is excited to unveil the video for the single "Transparent Seas". The track is the second released single from the band's recent album End Measured Mile which was released last year through Paper + Plastick Records. The clip is a computer animated video created by motion graphics designer Matt Frodsham. You can watch the clip below. The band's vocalist/guitarist James Carroll explains about the clip; "We already did a live action video for the record, and it came time to do another. We decided we wanted to do something that not a lot of our contemporaries have done, so we took the leap and trusted a friend with the project." An alternate, acoustic version of the song will appear on the band's recently announced Part And Parcel EP which is set to be released November 22nd on Paper + Plastick. You can find out more about the EP here.

Thrice's Dustin Kensrue acoustic performance for Invisible Children
Bands spanning across a number of genres are joining together to raise funds for Invisible Children. Thrice is one of them, and their vocalist Dustin Kensrue is leading the way. You can watch his acoustic performance of "Come All You Weary" here. Kensrue explains his band's involvement with the organization. With new album, Finders Keepers out now, the band are embarking on an 8 date trek around the country with their friends Milestones and Apart From This this December. Since their inception in early 2008, Skyway have fast forged a impressive name for themselves with the release of 2 EPs, an impressive touring resume and a list of support slots that would make most starting out bands green with envy. Their debut full-length, Finders Keepers (out now through Takedown Records), has solidified their place at the top of the pop punk food chain. Team that up with the fact that they’ve just finished up touring with The Amity Affliction and Asking Alexandria as a part of the “F*ck The Reaper Tour”, and you know that Skyway are ready and set to impress. Milestones formed in early 2010, and since then they have grown progressively from their demo to their EP Growing Up Is Getting Old, cre...
