Australian live concert streaming service say video giant approached them
Australian live music video company Moshcam have today announced a partnership with online video giant YouTube, which will see the company's wealth of live recorded video content be streamed through YouTube.
Moshcam's videos are available for free on their own site, and they have an existing YouTube platform, but today the Moshcam's Chief Product Officer Paul Hannigan told theMusic.com.au that the partnership will widen their presence on the world's biggest online video community.
“YouTube approached Moshcam to break out its video presence on their platform into a full partner channel,” he said. “Working with YouTube directly signifies a strategic shift for Moshcam from thinking about YouTube as a marketing channel to a an official distribution platform.
“Now, for the first time, our entire catalogue of over 15,000 live music videos will be available to a huge global audience, whereas previously only single tracks were offered on YouTube for promotional purposes. This is increasingly important in an age of connected devices, as fans will now be able to now watch Moshcam gigs free and in HD wherever they can watch YouTube.
