Music for a good cause!

Melbourne musos are banding together this Friday for Boundless Plains, a huge music event that will see 100% of all profits made go to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre.

This is no ordinary gig — heading up the evening's proceedings will be the Melbourne Mass Gospel Choir, featuring South Sudan singer Ajack Kwai, who originally came to Australia as a refugee, as well as Georgia Fields, Maya, Wolf & Willow, Elsie & The Vibe and stacks more.

“We are deeply concerned about Australia’s treatment of asylum seekers and refugees, and our country’s ongoing violation of human rights,” said Elsie & The Vibe in a statement.

“In light of everything happening at the moment, we felt like we had to take some sort of action.”
