Boutique Tasmanian camping event A Festival Called PANAMA is a little less than half a year away, but organisers are proving you can never be too organised, revealing the first batch of acts bound for the Lone Star ranges in March next year.
For local artists, the way is led by acclaimed singer-songwriter Marlon Williams & The Yarra Benders and WA buzz outfit Methyl Ethel, while the event has also snagged some quality internationals for the mix, chief among them lauded Nigerian musician Seun Kuti (and Egypt 80) as well as US songstress Natalie Prass.
Also aboard the festivities for 2016 are locals The Harpoons, Rolls Bayce, Olympia, Crepes, Sweet Jean and Heart Beach — but that's just for starters, with A Festival Called PANAMA's organisers promising many more to come in the near future.
To help keep spirits and energy levels up, the event will be providing an array of consumable and cultural refreshments, courtesy of locally sourced coffee, food vans, caterers, stall-holders, craft brewers, and yogis, ensuring your time at A Festival Called PANAMA is time well spent.

Only 1250 tickets will be made available for this year's festivities, so be sure to act quick when they go on sale on 1 December via the festival's website.
A Festival Called PANAMA 2016 runs from 12-13 March, with an early-arrival ticket option available for Friday 11 March to give you a headstart on getting set up for the festival proper on the Saturday. Friday won't be featuring main-stage programming, but there will be a pre-party at the Bedouin Club with "special guest bands and DJs" to help get you in the mood and raring to go for day one come the weekend.
