It Took Three Months, But The National Indigenous Music Chart Has A New #1 Song

After a big couple of weeks for Baker Boy including some killer performances at St Jerome's Laneway Festival, signing to Island Records Australia, releasing a banger new track called Cool As Hell and being named Young Australian Of The Year, the Yolngu man has taken out top spot on the National Indigenous Music Chart. 

Busby Marou had held onto top spot with their single Sound Of Summer for thirteen straight weeks, but today fall to third place behind Cool As Hell and new music from Thelma Plum in Not Angry Anymore.

Elsewhere the chart gets a shake up, with new music from Tasman Keith and Electric Fields coming in at #4 and #7 respectively and Drmngnow making his debut at #10 with Ancestors.

Plum's Clumsy Love remains in the charts at #8 along with tracks from Jessica Mauboy, Dallas Woods and Tia Gostelow.
