Is Workaholics About To Hit The Big Screen?

Blake Anderson thinks so.

Fans of the hit Comedy Central TV series Workaholics are no doubt aware already that the show has been renewed for a sixth and seventh season set to air respectively in 2016 and 2017, but moving forward it seems the trio have much grander plans.

Speaking to theMusic, frizzy haired star Blake Anderson, known as Blake Henderson on the comedy show about three slacker telemarketer friends, hinted that he and co-stars Adam DeVine and Anders Holm have their eyes on a Workaholics feature film.

"I think we'll do these next two seasons of Workaholics and then see where we're at, but I think we definitely are ready to start expanding our horizons and getting into the movie world," Anderson revealed.

"We've all kind of dabbled in other people's movies now and had pretty good success."

The 31-year-old actor most recently starred in newly released crime-comedy indie flick, Dope, DeVine has also been recognised for his comedic roles in the box office smash-hit franchise Pitch Perfect, while Holms has had roles in a number of big films including last year's controversial film, The Interview, as well as comedian Chris Rock's acclaimed hit, Top Five.

"I know that at least my main goal would be to make a movie with these dudes because I really like everything we always do together so that would be the dream," Anderson said.

In the meantime, we'll just have to wait to see how the upcoming seasons pan out, but if they have the same success as past seasons, then it won't be long before we see the TelAmariCorp clan on the big screen.
