Adelaide's Funkoars are the highest debuting locals this week
With last weekend's INXS interview on 7's Sunday Night garnering 1, 910, 000 viewers across the nation's capital cities (just 64, 000 short of the number of viewers for part one of the INXS mini-series a fortnight earlier), interest in the '80s arena rockers kept their complilation The Very Best at number one for a third week.
While sales began to slide for the back catalogue titles, their 1987 album Kick remained in the top three, slipping down just a notch from two last week. Their Live At Wembley Stadium 1991 set held at 17 but The Swing dropped to 34, Listen Like Thieves to 37 and Shabooh Shoobah to 46.
Having last week reached its highest ever peak since its release as a single in 1988, Never Tear Us Apart dropped from 11 to 15 in this week's Singles Chart. The band still have Need You Tonight at 36 (down from 28) and Don't Change at 46 (up from 59). Outside the top 50 they are also charting with By My Side (54), Original Sin (59), New Sensation (68), Mystify (73) and Beautiful Girl (84).
INXS are also atop the Music DVD chart with Live Baby Live while their Mystify DVD climbs up to six.
