Hottest 100 Acts Surge On Aussie Charts Following Countdown Results

UK rockers Glass Animals have soared back into the ARIA charts following their recent Hottest 100 win

They’re just one of a handful of artists reaping the benefits of the annual triple j countdown, with their winning track Heat Waves hitting #2 on the Singles chart after peaking at #11 around its release last year, while their album Dreamland has re-entered the Albums chart at #22.

Perth outfit Spacey Jane have also had an impact across both charts after scoring four songs in the annual countdown, with fan favourite Booster Seat debuting at #8 on the Singles chart, while their album Sunlight soars to #14.

17-year-old Sydney rapper The Kid LAROI, who scored two tracks in the countdown, continues to dominate the ARIA charts with his Fuck Love (Savage) mixtape climbing to #2 on the Albums chart, while Hottest 100 track SO DONE holds steady at #9 and Without You sits at #3 the Singles chart.

UK heavyweights Bring Me The Horizon have also received a local chart bump, with Post Human: Survival Horror re-entering at #3 following their tracks Parasite Eve and Obey making a countdown appearance, while Lime Cordiale's album 14 Steps To A Better You soars to #8 after the Sydney outfit scored a massive five songs in the countdown.

Other Hottest 100 tracks to see chart action include Mashd N Kutcher's viral hit, Get On The Beers, which debuted at #39, and Flume's The Difference (#3 on the Hottest 100), which re-enters at #23.
