Wildlands Festival will return this summer, with organisers confirming that the travelling event will stop in Brisbane and Perth and ring in the New Year.
Presented by Untitled Group, Beyond The Valley and triple j, the forthcoming edition of Wildlands will head to Brisbane Showgrounds on New Year’s Eve (Thursday, 31 December) and Perth’s Arena Joondalup on Saturday, 2 January. With the former held on New Year’s Eve, the Brisbane leg returns to an iconic date on the calendar.
Wildlands began teasing its return via a campaign that started on social media last week (15 July).
The dance-and-hip-hop-led festival unveiled a teaser on its social media accounts. In it, a red phone rings – calling back to the mysteries of Boy Swallows Universe – before a monster with a massive, hot pink claw picks up the phone and speaks indecipherably.
The festival team captioned the post, “Call the Wildlands Hotline if you’re looking for a good time.” In an email to subscribers seen by The Music, the teasers continued:

The Wildlands Hotline is now live, and the Party Monsters are standing by waiting for your call. Don’t be shy... we like a curious caller.
Who knows, the Monsters might have something really naughty that they want to share with you ....
Now, according to a press release, upon answering the phone and prompting punters to press 1, all four members of EDM powerhouse WORSHIP – Sub Focus, Dimension, Culture Shock and 1991 – answered the call, confirming their Australian debut, exclusively at both Wildlands dates this summer. Wildlands 2026/27 is set to be home to reimagined stage designs and updated site layouts across Brisbane and Perth, with open-air production on the Sahara Stage and an upgraded Summit Stage. Plus, this year sees the launch of the Wilds Stage, giving fans on-stage access alongside the DJ line-up.
The line-up for Wildlands 2026/27 will be announced soon. Previous iterations of the festival have hosted big names such as Tyler, The Creator, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Peggy Gou, Central Cee, Kid Cudi, Dom Dolla, FISHER, Addison Rae, G Flip, Becky Hill, Chase & Status, Lola Young, and many others.
