Wildlands is gearing up to share a major announcement.
Today (15 July), the dance-and-hip-hop-led festival unveiled a teaser on its social media accounts. In it, a red phone rings – calling back to the mysteries of Boy Swallows Universe – before a monster with a massive, hot pink claw picks up the phone and speaks indecipherably.
The festival team captioned the post, “Call the Wildlands Hotline if you’re looking for a good time.” In an email to subscribers seen by The Music, the teasers continue:

The Wildlands Hotline is now live, and the Party Monsters are standing by waiting for your call. Don’t be shy... we like a curious caller.
Who knows, the Monsters might have something really naughty that they want to share with you ....
You can sign up for tickets here. At the time of publication, no other details have been revealed, but after seeing the teaser, the line-up is surely dropping soon. Check out the video below.
This year’s Wildlands took place at Brisbane Showgrounds on New Year’s Day (Thursday, 1 January) and Perth’s Arena Joondalup on Saturday, 3 January. The events featured reimagined stage designs, including a 360° ‘in the round’ stage, raised dancefloors, and updated site layouts.

The line-up was led by Australian EDM powerhouse Dom Dolla, world-conquering singer and actress Addison Rae, and hip-hop visionary Kid Cudi, returning Down Under for the first time in over a decade.
In addition to the headliners, the 2026 festival locked in enormous dance music names, such as Chris Stussy, KETTAMA, Luude, 070 Shake, Balu Brigada, Cassian, Channel Tres, Fcukers, Miss Kaninna, NOTION, sim0ne, and others.
Sadly, this year saw Adelaide audiences miss out, with organisers revealing that South Australia will take a break from the festival. Hopefully it returns to the fun in 2027.
