Make Them Suffer, Bayside, Tiger Army, Explosions In The Sky, Descendents, Graves & The Living End, just to name a few.
Man, 2016 and 2017 have been doing well for Australian tours as we seem to have them coming out of the fucking wazoo lately, and there is a lot on the close and distant horizon for us Aussies to look forward too. So here is a list of tours that are going to help in depleting your wallet and keep your ears ringing. Well, that is unless you don't go out to shows, and if that's the case, the hell's wrong with you!?
Okay, so let's start off with a recently announced tour - Make Them Suffer's three date December run with DVSR, Foxblood, and Iconoclast (Sydney & Brisbane only). These shows are in support of the Perth's bands (pictured above) latest single, 'Ether', which came out earlier this year. Me thinks that a new record is definitely coming in 2017 so keep your eyes peeled for that!
December 8th - Crowbar, Brisbane
December 9th- Newtown Social Club, Sydney
Don't miss a beat with our FREE daily newsletter
December 10th - Northcote Social Club, Melbourne
(Also, it's totally not confusing to have two of the same named venues on a tour).

LA's punk/psychobilly crew Tiger Army, AKA Nick 13, Djordje Stijepovic and Mike Fasano, will be back in February (which is going to be an intense month for many punters) and will be in the support for 2016's 'V •••–'. The tour will be supported by Fireballs and Pat Capocci. Nab tix for these Tiger Army shows here and suss the dates below.

Now, it's been a few years since New York's H2O were on our shores but good things come to those that wait. This national 2017 tour seems to be coming in at the tail end of the cycle for the punk bands most recent album, 2015's Use Your Voice'. The last time that I saw these guys live was back at Soundwave 2011 and it was a terrific set. I can only imagine that five yeas won't have hindered their live shows in anyways.

In support of their new album, 'Chemical Miracle' (out now via Hopeless Records), Newcastle's Trophy Eyes are hitting the road in February. This will be the band's returning run to Australia since supporting The Amity Affliction back in August and since taking on American audiences earlier this year. So expect a few old songs from 'Mend, Move On' as well as plenty of 'Chemical Miracle' jams. Maybe even a cut from the 'Everything Goes Away' EP? Guess you'll have to go to find out. Peter Mengede is the guitarist and founding member of the New York alt-metal legends, Helmet, and in a rather cool move, he is teaming up with Brisbane hard rockers, Göatzilla for a string of 2016 tour dates as well as a stint in the studio with Jeff Lovejoy (Powderfinger, The Cruel Sea, Regurgitator) to record the band’s debut EP. (So...Mengzilla?) Seriously, any and all fans of Motörhead and Dead Kennedys will love this one. You can check out the Göatzilla tour dates below:

2016 has been a big year for The Living End. With Cursed Earth, Justice For The Damned, Kublai Khan AND Graves (pictured above) all on the same tour, this makes this December tour easily one of the heavier stints of 2016. With Cursed Earth releasing a new album earlier this year to Graves new album, 'Monster', dropping last week and with JFTD planning a new release in 2017, right now is an exciting time for all of these bands and a good time for you to see them live.
