The ‘80s pop music tour of dreams is hitting Australia in August and September, with Go West and special guest Debbie Gibson coming together for a huge national tour.
The tour begins at Perth’s Astor Theatre on Tuesday, 25 August. It continues at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Friday, 28 August, Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on Saturday, 29 August, Adelaide’s The Gov on Monday, 31 August, Hobart’s Odeon Theatre on Wednesday, 2 September, and concludes at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Friday, 4 September.
With Go West classics such as We Close Our Eyes, King Of Wishful Thinking and Call Me, and Debbie Gibson hits like Only In My Dreams, Foolish Beat, and Electric Youth, fans can gear up for an epic live music experience.
Early bird pre-sale tickets will be available on Wednesday, 4 March, at 9 am local time, followed by the general sale on Friday, 6 March, at 9 am local time. You can register for pre-sale tickets and find more ticketing information on the Destroy All Lines website.
“It is always a pleasure and a privilege to play for our Australian fans who have been with us for four decades,” said Go West’s Peter Cox.
However, the singer added that, due to ill health, his bandmate Richard Drummie won’t be heading along for the tour.

Cox continued, “Unfortunately, Richard can’t be with me this time due to ill health, but I am looking forward to singing our hits and more with the mighty Go West band at some of my favourite venues. See you soon, Australia!”
Debbie Gibson added, “I’m so thrilled to return to Australia at long last! My fans down under have remained loyal through the decades, and supporting Go West on their 40th anniversary tour is a dream come true!”
Go West return to Australia for the first time since 2024, when they toured Down Under on a co-headline run with Nik Kershaw. For Gibson, it’s been much longer: she last played for her Australian fans in 1989.
