After taking a break last year, Fridayz Live is set to return in 2025—and come back with a bang, today announcing its largest-ever venues ahead of the line-up reveal.

Yesterday (19 May), the Fridayz Live team confirmed that the beloved travelling event is back this year. After the profile was previously scrubbed, the team posted a video to social media, which is packed with excited text messages about its impending return.

Today, the hype ramped up with Fridayz Live announcing the dates and venues for this year’s events, plus revealed that the highly anticipated line-up will drop on Thursday (22 May) at 6 am AEST.

Beginning at Brisbane’s Showgrounds on Friday, 17 October, Fridayz Live will then head to Sydney’s ENGIE Stadium on Saturday, 18 October, Perth’s Langley Park on Friday, 24 October, and wrap up at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on Saturday, 25 October.

Upon announcing last year’s events wouldn’t go ahead, organisers stated that they couldn’t lock in a line-up “worthy enough” for punters in 2024. However, they assured punters that the festival will be “bigger and better” in 2025. Their statement at the time read:

“Hey Fridayz Fam 🫶 it’s gonna burn for us to say this - Fridayz Live won’t be happening this year.

“We couldn’t pull together a line-up worthy enough for our amazing fans, so we’re hitting the pause button – for now. But don’t stress, we won’t be gone for long. Fridayz will be back, bigger and better in 2025. Stay tuned.”

Fridayz Live, which has enjoyed six editions as of 2023, usually takes place annually in arenas across Australia in November. It brings the hits of the ‘90s and ‘2000s from artists including Jason Derulo, Kelly Rowland, Flo Rida, JoJo, Boys II Men, Travie McCoy, and many more.
