Flume and Of Monsters & Men v The Rest
Flume's top spot in the ARIA Albums Chart is going to come under attack this week, with midweek figures indicating a number of other familiar names, including Laneway co-stars, are tracking well.
Of Monsters & Men have been threatening a number one in recent months and the double-whammy of Little Talks coming second in the triple j Hottest 100 and their appearance at Laneway might just be enough for them to grab top spot from the Sydney producer (who also benefited from Hottest 100 and Laneway bumps). The Icelandic folk outfit's album My Head Is An Animal record has spent 18 weeks in the chart and is currently at five, its highest point yet.
They'll both have to overcome Justin Bieber's Believe Acoustic, which debuted at two last week, though, as well as previous number ones Bruno Mars's Unorthodox Jukebox and the soundtrack to The Sapphires. The latter cleaned up at the AACTAs and is set to bullet from position 16.
Another bullet performer to keep an eye on is Swedish House Mafia's Until Now. On their 'final' Australian tour and boosted by the club hit Don't You Worry Child, a top five is right on the cards if the midweek figures continue.

In the ARIA Singles Chart the current top four – Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' Same Love featuring Mary Lambert (one) and Thrift Shop featuring Wanz (two); The Lumineers' Ho Hey (three); and Birds Of Tokyo's Lanterns (four) – look to be assured of strong spots once again.
There are bullet performers sizing up for strong positions though, including new tracks Get Up (Rattle) by Bingo Players featuring Far East Movement and Just Give Me A Reason by Pink featuring Nate Reuss.
James Arthur's Impossible is also set to rise from ten.
