Chet Faker ProfileIndie muso Chet Faker has taken aim at an article crticising his appearance at this week's ARIA Awards, saying he "felt like shit" reading the piece.
The Talk Is Cheap singer, who won two awards on the night, took aim at the News.com.au piece, tweeting each of the three journalists who wrote the article that slammed Faker for his acceptance speech and for avoiding majority of media on the red carpet.
The article, titled 'Are Our Aussie Stars 'Too Cool' For The ARIAs?' called out Faker for his two acceptance speeches in particular, refering to his first "the world’s worst acceptance speech" and crticising him for not thanking anyone in his second.
Faker responded yesterday with the following tweets:

The three tweets followed another post where the electronica artist said he was "gonna lay low" from social media for a while.
"Gonna lay low off the social media thing till the regs blow over. C u core ppl when I'm back, stay swaz."
Faker, real name Nicholas Murphy, won Best Male Artist and Best Independent release. He was nominated in nine categories.
He also won three other awards in Fine Arts & Artisan categories last month.
His new six-track iTunes session release is out today.
While Faker might be receiving backlash over not saying enough in his acceptance speeches, here are the three speeches ARIA didn't want you to see.
