Brisbane Pop-Rock Band Sign UK Management Deal

Starlight Theatre are making moves overseas

Brisbane pop-rock band Starlight Theatre have penned a UK management deal.

The four-piece have been based in London for the majority of the last couple of years, playing a stack of live shows and gaining attention from the industry over there. London-based company Oceanic Music Management have snapped the guys up and they'll be under the guide of British musician and producer Jon O'Mahony, who has previously worked with Aussie icon Kylie Minogue, Bryan Adams and Natasha Bedingfield.

The UK signing isn't the only overseas news happening in the world of Starlight Theatre, with the guys also enjoying recent airplay on US radio. The band's track Oceans was added to the syndicated show Passport Approved, which reaches everywhere from Los Angeles to Boston, as well as countries like Germany and South Africa.

Starlight Theatre are also gearing up to release Oceans locally, with the single slated to drop here on 1 Apr.

They released their first EP, Castles, Clocks & Cathedrals in 2011.
