Charlie Puth Cancels 2026 Australian Tour Dates

After promising an "unforgettable" live show with a world-class band, Charlie Puth will no longer be making his way to Australia this November.

American multi-platinum and award-winning artist Charlie Puth has cancelled his forthcoming visit to Australia and New Zealand.

First announced back in April, the producer, musician, and songwriter was scheduled to launch his upcoming trip in early November, performing at Auckland’s Spark Arena in New Zealand, before heading west to Australia with arena dates in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth.

However, the performances have now been cancelled, with ticketholders receiving an email informing them that the dates will no longer be going ahead. Likewise, ticket outlets have now listed the event as cancelled and have taken tickets off sale.

No reason for the cancellation was provided, and Puth is yet to issue any public statement. The Music have reached out to promoters for comment, but were yet receive a response at the time of publication.

The email provided to ticketholders also informed them that all tickets will be automatically refunded via the original payment method, with no action required on behalf of customers.

Beginning his musical career as a teenager in 2009, Puth achieved viral success online in his early years, and topped the charts as a featured artist on Wiz Khalifa's See You Again in 2015. He released his debut album, Nine Track Mind, in 2016, and made his first visit to Australia in 2023.

Puth's latest album, Whatever's Clever!, arrived back in March, and was produced by the singer alongside BloodPop, seamlessly blending jazz, soft rock, and yacht rock music alongside features by surprising special guests, including Kenny G, Kenny Loggins, and Jeff Goldblum.

Puth had previously promised that his Australian dates would see him perform with a "world-class band", offering "an unforgettable live experience" for his dedicated fans. “I feel like I’ve worked and waited my entire career to put this sort of live show on for you all,” Puth said in a statement alongside the shows' announcement.

It remains to be seen whether new dates will be forthcoming in the wake of the nascent cancellation.
