Radiohead are finally returning to our shores in May 2027, and the shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth have been met with phenomenal demand – even with a ticket registration process that meant fans have missed out on tickets.

On Thursday (17 September), the British music icons announced that every show – six in Melbourne and Sydney, respectively, plus four in Perth – has sold out.

After 15 years between shows in Australia, it’s really not surprising that all dates on Radiohead’s upcoming tour Down Under have sold out.

Taking to their Instagram Stories, the band informed fans, “All Australian dates are currently SOLD OUT. A few more tickets may be released to registered fans at a later date.”

Radiohead then encouraged fans not to be tempted to buy tickets from third-party ticketing platforms – Frontier Touring’s FAQ lists Tixel as one of those platforms – as those tickets will be “monitored and subject to cancellation.”

Official resales for the band’s 2027 Australian tour open in April, a month before the shows take place.

Radiohead will perform four shows at Perth’s RAC Arena (4, 4, 6, 7 May), six nights at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena (13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 20 May), and six nights at Sydney’s Afterpay Arena (25, 26, 28, 29, 31 May, 1 June).

The Karma Police rockers will also perform a series of shows in Japan. The band’s upcoming tour follows a bunch of residencies performed in European cities last November and December.

Radiohead last toured Australia in 2012 – in support of their 2011 album, The King of Limbs. However, lead singer and multi-instrumentalist Thom Yorke visited Australia for a solo tour in 2024, where he debuted material from a new collaborative album with Mark Pritchard.
