Ben Lee ProfilePop wunderkind turned singer songwriter experimentalist Ben Lee premiered a track from his forthcoming record during his keynote speech at BIGSOUND last week.
Lee will release the album Ayahuasca: Welcome to the Work, a concept record based on the South American healing drug Ayahuasca, next March. His most experimental undertaking to date, he aired the track Welcome To The House Of Mystical Death from his iPod 46 minutes into the keynote.
Lee has taken to crowd-sourcing platforms to pay for the record, with guitars, house shows and signed albums up for grabs.
In the keynote he also answers his critics over moving to America and his early career.
