5 Seconds Of Summer have joined a very exclusive club after scoring yet another #1 Aussie album this past weekend.

With their latest record, CALM, the Sydney outfit are now just the second Australian group to have their first four albums debut at top spot on the ARIA Albums chart next to Silverchair.

“We are blown away by the news that our fourth record CALM has topped the Australian charts this week," 5SOS said in a statement.

"And to have our first four albums go to #1 in our home country is so so special; we can’t thank our fans enough for making this happen.

"Thank you to everyone that listened to the record this week. We hope it brought you some joy during such challenging times. Love to everyone back home. Stay safe and well.”

ARIA CEO Dan Rosen also congratulated 5SOS on the "incredible achievement".

"Getting a Number One album is difficult at any time, but topping the ARIA Charts in such an uncertain period shows how much their music means to their fans around Australia," Rosen said.

"Their success internationally also proves that in these times of isolation, Australian music still carries hope and optimism around the world."

5SOS guested on The Green Room with Neil Griffiths when they were back home in February to chat about the CALM; listen to the full episode on Spotify, Apple Podcasts (below) or wherever you listen to your favourite podcasts.

The band will return to Australia in November for a headline tour; click on theGuide for a look at all of the dates and venues.
