August Burns Red and Blessthefall announce Australian tour
When August Burns Red unleashed their 2009 breakout album, Constellations , they became a band that could no longer be ignored. They debuted in the Top 25, co-headlined the AP Tour, headlined Warped Tour and connected fiercely with a colossal legion of fans. Suddenly the Pennsylvania-based metalcore giants have found themselves in some rather unexpected places. From the cover of Alternative Press to Fox’s American Dad, from the sands of Dubai to Japan to South America. Having briefly stopped by in 2010 to say G’Day to Aussie fans as part of the No Sleep Til tour, August Burns Red are now set to grace our shores once more in support of their fourth full-length album Leveler. Revolver Magazine concluded that the release set the standard for their entire scene in 2011, so it’s only fitting then, that the band brings some of the genre’s finest live bands along for the ride on their mammoth Australian tour. Take Cover announce break up
Take Cover have announced they are breaking-up. Read a statement from the band below. To our friends, family and friends: I have no idea how to approach this and that’s never usually an issue for me. Without gushing any further, we all frickin’ love each other. That’s why it was so difficult to make the decision we have made. Its honestly one of the hardest things that any of us have ever had to do, but we feel that now is ...

Paramore meeting with producers in Los Angeles for new album
Paramore has traveled to Los Angeles to meet with producers, setting the wheels in motion for the band to eventually begin recording their fourth full-length. Check out the update below: "Well... It's been about 4 months since we've written to you guys. Awkward! But honestly, this "off-time" has set the record for the longest amount of time we've ever spent off since before the couple of weeks we spent making our 1st full length album back in 2005. Don't kid yourself though. It hasn't been all hangs and no hard work! What the three of us want you to know is we are headed to Los Angeles next week to meet with a whole mess of really incredible producers. And we are - basically - bringing you along with us to find the one that will help us create our 4th full length album. So, we're taking a video camera with us to producer meetings, hotel recording sessions, and all of our LA adventures. If you don't know, now you know, next week is a big deal for us and we are psyched to make you...
