Your Paradise Pro Tips: Yahtzel
Yahtzel lays down five things he's looking forward to at the epic tropic festival.. Your Paradise is a new festival for 2014, and one not like any other in the country. Taking place over three nights on the delightfully tropical Plantation Island in Fiji this November 19-22, it not only features a world-class line-up of international and Australia DJs/producers, but a raft of activities and events for a four-day music/cultural experience we've never seen before. How huge is the line-up? Well check the flyer below (and click on it to head to the website), before scoping five things Yahtzel is looking foward to for that most epic-looking weekend. 5 THINGS w/ YAHTZEL: 1. Seeing LDRU in form every day; I'm going to follow him around after 11pm and make sure he doesn't flake out and go to bed early this time. I want to see some sunrises this year. 2. Soaking up some rays and shaking this radical studio moon-tan. 3. There's a few sports matches going down so I'm gunna go get real with some

Andy Bull - Talk Too Much (Ribongia Remix)
Time to start keeping an ear on Sydney's Ribongia.. Following some props from the likely Indian Summer lads over at STONEY ROADS, and Dom Alessio jumping on board this week, it's definitely time to get acquainted with Sydney producer Ribongia. He's been making music for a couple of years now, but it feels like in 2014 he's really starting to flex his muscle. First was the release of Slave Trade about a month ago (listen HERE), and now this weird tropical banger take on Andy Bull's Talk Too Much. It might take you a second to get your head around the intro, but once it gets into its kinda-Jersey kinda something-else-entirely rhythm, it feels fresh, and you can't help but tap your feet. Weird name, weird tunes, good stuff - can't wait for more. Follow Ribongia: FACEBOOK // SOUNDCLOUD

Introducing: LO'99
The Aussie house scene continues its exponential growth.. Following our premiere yesterday of Mickey Kojak's new Sinden remix (check it HERE), we figure it time to give another up-and-coming house producer some lovin' in LO'99. Fairly mysterious, he's been bobbing up with a few sweet free remixes and originals, and we get the feeling it's just the beginning and Australia falls more and more in love with the 4x4 bizness. Take a listen to LO'99's bassy sounds below, and get to know him a little better: Tell us about about yourself?  Big fan of basslines, computer games and shoes, mostly Nike. Hoegaarden is my beer of choice :)  What kinda tunes we talkin’? I love all types of music, but in my studio we talking 4 to the 4 bassline business. I guess house in general, but I’m definitely not shy of a broken beat or some techno.  Production/writing process: Laydown a kick, add a lilttle percussion and go in on a b-line!! The rest comes after unless I have a vocal or melody idea in the first
