Live Review: Wonderful Humans 'Edge of the Night' (Daktyl Remix)

Daktyl does a wonderful rendition of upbeat hit Edge of the Night by Wonderful Humans and transforms it into a slow stopping track worthy of praise.

Daktyl has routinely been on the scour for moving tracks like 'Last Train' by Dawn Golden and 'Ghost' by Halsey, then subsequently switching them up into beautiful pieces of art that do their makers proud.

The original track by Wonderful Humans track is a three minutes roller-coaster of happiness that would put more than a deep smile on your face, like that cheerful crush you met at a stranger's party.

Immediately you get thrown into a pool of warmth and contentment, tinkling bells in the chorus bring forth heaven-like emotions while the steady pulsating beat keeps your heart racing.

Dakytl's rendition reaches up to a different ventricle of the heart, full of affect and effect. By matching up the soulful vocals on delay with heavy chords on the piano and airy and ethereal backup voices, it creates a profound track that lives and breathes more deeply than quickly. The synth further amplifies that by operating in an incandescent manner, throbbing deep with bass with a pitch shifted hardstyle kick in the bridge that sends energy bouncing off the walls.

The Englishman on keys is currently on a European tour through Paris and Austria right now, but if you wish to party in a city near him, send him some love from down under by tapping the replay button.
