Local hardcore outfit Civil War have called it a day.

The band made the announcement this evening via Facebook.

Civil War write in a statement:

CIVIL WAR IS DEAD!

As a band we have decided to call it a day. Thanks to anyone that has supported this band whether that be by listening to our music by coming to shows, picked up Merch, booked us on shows tours etc , We've played with lots of great bands over the last 3 years and made some great friends in doing so. Keep an ear out for members doing other things and we will also have some news on a last show soon.
