Connecticut based punk band Make Do And Mend have posted a new song onto their myspace page. The song "Cobwebs" is taken from the band's upcoming split with Touche Amore, which will be released soon by Panic Records. 

As OZZY OSBOURNE gears up for the August 14 launch of the 2010 OZZFest, the multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will be releasing “Life Won’t Wait,” the second single from his worldwide smash album SCREAM, to Australian radio and television on August 30th. The video for the hard-hitting and melodic life-affirming song is being directed by OZZY’s son, Jack Osbourne, and it was shot last week at various locations in Los Angeles.

While here later in the year supporting Metallica, hard rockers Baroness have announced they will take time out to play three Australian headline shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. The Savannah quartet will be stirring up a storm at these shows while showcasing the monolithic blend of sludge rock, doom and progressive metal from their 2007 debut, Red Album, and 2009 follow-up, Blue Record. “Baroness are not a group of young gentlemen trying their hand at gloomy alternative rock for the first time, but more seasoned veterans who have honed their skills over the years which really shows in their well received sophomore release “Blue Record”- Killyourstereo. Baroness and Lamb of God will also support Metallica during the October/November leg of their 2010 Australian tour (Fear Factory and The Sword will fill the support slots during Metallica’s September shows). Canadian deathcore giants Despised Icon are set to hit Australian shores for the first time.The tour to Australia will sadly be a part of the band's final world tour before they split. Formed in 2002 the Montreal six-piece have become a major force in contemporary death metal. With six releases under their belts and having toured the world with the likes of The Black Dahlia Murder, Behemoth, Hatebreed and Parkway Drive, Despised Icon have decided to call it quits.“It’s hard to believe we started this band almost 10 years ago already. At first, Despised Icon was mostly just an excuse to hang out, write brutal slam riffs and play local shows once in a while,” says the band of their break up. “With your support, we got the opportunity to actually play music for a living, make friends around the world, be MVPs and travel to places we never even dreamed of visiting in our lifetime.”

Pop punk stars Sum 41 have been forced to cancel the remaining dates of Warped Tour due to injuries sustained by their singer. 

Texan metalcore group Oh Sleeper have announced the supporting acts for their upcoming Australian tour.
