In Hearts Wake have posted a brand new track titled 'Prisoner' on their myspace page. The song is from their upcoming split release with 'The Bride', which will be available online and in stores on September 3rd through New Justice Records.

All That Remains have unveiled the album artwork for their upcoming fifth album, For We Are Many. The artwork for the album was provided by artist Travis Smith, who All That Remains vocalist Phil Labonte praised during an interview with Noisecreep. "This is the first time I've had the idea for a cover before we started,” Labonte said. “Other discs, I would tell the artist, 'I can tell ya what I don't want, but I can't tell ya what I want.' Travis Smith is really cool to work with. He'd done 'The Fall of Ideals,' so I knew him and he's great to work with. I'd told him what I wanted, and it came together pretty fast. Hope people dig it like we do." The artwork for For We Are Many can be viewed here. The album was produced by Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz and will be released via Prosthetic Records/Razor & Tie October 12. All That Remains will be touring Australia as part of Soundwave 2011.

Austin, Texas metal band The Sword are aiming for the stars with their third full-length album by announcing that it will be a ‘concept album’ based on science fiction. Titled “Warp Riders”, the new album reportedly follows an interplanetary science fiction narrative that deals with temporal themes of death and rebirth (sounds trippy ey?) The Sword guitarist/vocalist John "J. D." Cronise recently elaborated on details of the album during an interview with Decibel magazine. "This is what you'd technically call a 'concept album,' though I'd describe it as more of a soundtrack to a story I came up with. All the songs are about aspects of the story, but they don't cover every detail from beginning to end. It's a science fiction story, and it deals heavily with themes of light and dark and perceptions of time. Slayer have announced that they will be releasing a new vinyl discography box set titled "The Vinyl Conflict". The limited edition set will feature ten albums on 11 records. The band's records"Reign In Blood", "South of Heaven", "Seasons In The Abyss", "Decade of Aggression" (Double LP), "Divine Intervention", "Undisputed Attitude", "God Hates Us All", "Christ Illusion" and "World Painted Blood" will all be a part of the set.

LA hardcore guru's Terror have posted an album trailer containing samples of all the tracks set to be featured on the band's upcoming album "Keepers Of The Faith".

The Loved Ones front man Dave Hause has posted a new solo track on his myspace page. The song "Melanin" is taken from Dave's solo 7", which was released earlier in the year.

Enter Shikari performed a new song recently at the Finnish rock and metal festival, Ankkarock 2010. A video of the new song is available to view here. With Enter Shikari touring Australia next month, it would seem likely that Australian fans can expect to hear some new material (possibly including this song you’d think?) from the band when they tour the country. Evergreen Terrace have posted a response to the rumours where it was alleged that the band's singer Andrew and guitarist Craig assulted a woman and her boyfriend after the band's show in Pittsburgh.The band posted in a myspace blog:"Because of the amount of attention that the "ET fight" rumor has caused, we want to answer your questions and clear up what happened at our show on 8/12 in Cheswick, PA. We attempted to let these ridiculous comments pass and not to take part in the absurdity, but because the rumors continue-even if by only a small group of people- we think our fans deserve the truth.
