The UK has traditionally been a healthy breeding ground for young, up and coming bands. Ipswich pop punk outfit A Fate Untold may not be a household name yet, but with an honest and reliable work ethic the band are well positioned going forward. Having just released a new single, the group’s drummer, Todd caught up with Killyourstereo recently to discuss music, drunken hotel shenanigans and plans for the future.

Philadelphia based pop punk band The Wonder Years are set to make their first ever trip to Australia in less than a month now, as well as re-releasing their newest album "The Upsides" through Hopeless Records. The band's vocalist Dan "Soupy" Campbell answered a few questions for us.

My Chemical Romance have announced that they have completed recording their new, currently untitled fourth studio album. The band recorded the follow up to their 2006 album "The Black Parade" with producer Brendan O'Brien. Front man Gerard Way said the following in a recent interview: "We just finished the album so we're excited about that. It's the second attempt at the album and we're really happy with it. I don't know that people want to make statements right now. I can't comment on anybody else's record but I certainly feel something in the air, like, people just want the truth and they don't need a big story." There has been no release date announced yet for the album, but it is expected to be released before the end of 2010.

Philadelphia based pop punk band The Wonder Years have posted a new song online. The song "We Won't Bury You" is taken from the band's upcoming re-release of "The Upsides", which will be released on September 21 through the band's new label Hopeless Records.Front man Dan "Soupy" Campbell had the following to say about the song:"In June, we recorded a song for Mike that we were planning on showing him this past weekend. He never got to hear it. It was inspired by a conversation I had with him when he went back to rehab last. I asked if there was anything we could do and if he wanted to start touring with us so that we could watch over him. He said that he needed to be in a facility for awhile and that he just wanted to make sure we didn't bury him. Those were his words."

The track listing for the upcoming sixth Guitar Hero game, "Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock" has been revealed. Narrated Gene Simmons from Kiss, the game is set to feature songs by The Ramones, AFI, Anberlin, Atreyu, Avenged Sevenfold, Bad Brains, The Dillinger Escape Plan, DragonForce, Fall Out Boy, Foo Fighters, Jane's Addiction, Muse, My Chemical Romance, Nine Inch Nails, Rise Against, Slayer, Strung Out, Sum 41 and many more.

Anarcho-punk veterans Crass will release remasters of their entire back catalogue over the next few months.

Brisbane based pop punk band Milestones have uploaded two new songs onto their myspace page. The songs "When We Were Young" and "Safe And Sound" are taken from the band's debut EP "Growing Up Is Getting Old, which will be released in September by Stay Home Records. 

The debut album from progressive supergroup Orbs is available now.
