Kylesa new album details
Psychedelic rockers Kylesa have revealed the cover art and tracklisting for their upcoming fifth album, Spiral Shadow. The band recorded Spiral Shadow at the Jam Room in Columbia, South Carolina with band member and renowned producer Phillip Cope (Baroness, Withered). Spiral Shadow is being eagerly awaited by critics and fans alike after the success of the band’s previous album, Static Tensions, which received universal praise from the likes of Spin, Terrorizer, Pitchfork and Revolver. Kylesa will tour Australia next year as part of Soundwave 2011.

Corey Taylor writes book about sins
With plenty of experience writing lyrics, Slipknot/ Stone Sour front man Corey Taylor has taken the next step by announcing he will release a book. However, fans expecting an autobiography or a typical rock n’ roll account of his time in the music business may be surprised to learn that Taylor has actually chosen to write about something somewhat obscure- the Seven Deadly Sins. Taylor explains in an interview with Attention Deficit Delirium: “I just finished writing it, and it’s being edited right now,” Taylor tells A.D.D. “We’re hoping to get it out by the spring of next year. It’s about the Seven Deadly Sins and my take on them and how I don’t think they’re sins at all. They’re human characteristics. They’re just human flaws and things that we all experience, yet because we all deal with them we’re all doomed? Screw you. Basement sign with Run For Cover Records
Boston based label Run For Cover records are proud to welcome their latest addition to the family, UK's Basement. It's been a productive year for the band not only touring with bands such as Title Fight, Blacklisted and Shook Ones, they have also released their 7" "Songs About The Weather" through UK label City Of Gold, which will also later be released through USA label Lost Tape Collective as a tape aswell as vinyl.The band plan on releasing their debut full length through Run For Cover in 2011, for now the band has released a two song digital download via bandcamp which is ironically titled "Two Songs" the release features "Plan To Be Suprised" a track the band recently debut through their myspace.
