Alice In Chains have released a new video for their single Acid Bubble, taken from the latest album 'Black Gives Way.' The video, which was directed by Nick Goso from Spy Films, is in an interactive format which allows the viewer change their perspectives in a 360-degree landscape.

Slipknot will be releasing their highly anticipated new DVD "(sic)nesses" on September 24 through Roadrunner Records, and we are proud to be given an exclusive Australian premiere of the live version of "Psychosocial" taken from the DVD. The DVD is a 2 disc set that features the band's entire headlining performance at the Download 2009 festival, as well as the music videos for "Psychosocial", "Dead Memories", "Sulfur" and "Snuffplus", a short film about the band, and some bonus features including the making of the videos.

Boston, MA's Energy is back with a three-song EP that will shatter everything you thought you knew about the band. Incredibly melodic with haunting keyboards, catchy choruses, soaring vocals and intricate guitar work, the Walk Into The Fire EP is one of the most interesting 7 inches of the year. Energy vocalist Jason Tankerley said, "We are more confident in the three songs on this EP than we've ever been with any Energy release in the past. The song 'Walk Into The Fire' is a continuation of where we've been heading all along really, while 'Let's Get Away' is possibly our most upbeat song to date. The final track 'Angels At My Grave' clocks in at 5 and a half minutes and is without a doubt our most interesting song - a great way to close out the EP."

Minneapolis based pop rock band Sing It Loud have announced that the band has decided to break up. Their last ever shows as a band will be announced soon.The band posted:"After three years of playing music together, we (Pat, Ben, Nate, Chris and Kieren) have decided to step away from Sing It Loud. We would like to thank everyone who has supported us through this amazing part of our lives. We have been given a rare opportunity to do something many people never get the chance to do, and for that we are eternally grateful. There is no drama or bad blood between any of us, we are all going out together the same way we came into this- as friends. There comes a time in everyone’s life when they need to make choices and steps towards what will make them happy, and we are all ready to take those steps in our lives. Brisbane based indie/emo band Arrows have launched a stream of their highly anticipated second album "Try And Stay Upright". The record will be released on September 20 through Hobbledehoy Records, but the CD version can be pre-ordered here.

Smoke Or Fire are set to release their third full length on Fat titled The Speakeasy on November 9th, recorded by Matt Allison at Atlas Studio. A member change welcomes Ryan Parrish (Darkest Hour) who lends his talent on drums; while this recording marks the first time Gwomper (AVAIL) was part of the writing process since he took over stewardship of bass when long time member Ken Gurley left the band. The Speakeasy is a complete album in the truest sense, lacking nothing, while offering varied, yet equally enthralling melodies and music on each of the 13 tracks. Constructed around the cornerstone of the guitar driven, heavy punk rock sound they are known for, this album evolves much further. Innovative melodies are ushered along by clever guitar work as gruff vocals give way at times to a more polished pitch.
