Having shared the stage with the likes of Converge (USA), Ruiner (USA), Parkway Drive, Hopeless, The Amity Affliction and opening the metal stage at Perth’s run of the Soundwave 2010 Festival as well as playing with Perth's own Miles Away, BLKOUT! and Break Even. Vanity are now embarking on an east coast tour during October/November. Earlier this year Vanity released their debut EP “Hitting Home” via Australia’s Arrest Records. Joining them on the tour will be Wollongong’s Never Content, having shared the stage with the likes of The Amity Affliction, Hopeless, Therefore I Am (USA), City Escape. Never Content also released their debut EP “Midnight at Six”, also through Arrest Records.

New York hardcore masters Madball have allegedly parted ways with drummer, Jay Weinberg, midway through their current Canadian tour. The split brings an end to Weinbergs short stint in the band, as you may recall Weinberg joined Madball just a few months back. Frontman Freddy Crecien made the following statement;"I'm letting Jay go in Canada because I just feel he doesn't represent this band well on a character level. It would go against my own code of ethics to keep him around. Not saying he's a bad drummer. I won't take that away from him. But the reality is - he has a lot to learn about paying dues, and about life in general. Granted, he is a kid, but I'm not sure that he'll ever be built for this particular lifestyle. I wish him the best of luck, but the Madball machine rolls on!"
